As an office of the Archdiocese of St. Louis we are committed to live the gospel of Jesus Christ.

"As Catholics in the Archdiocese of St. Louis, in communion with the Bishop of Rome, we are called by our Lord, Jesus Christ, to be His Church and live His Gospel. With joy, we strive to fulfill our Baptismal calling by prayer and worship, teaching and sharing our faith, serving others, and fostering unity in diversity. Guided by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to the responsible stewardship of all God's gifts."

Our Mission

Our Mission

The mission of the Office of Racial Harmony is to bring an awareness about the sin of racism, in all its forms, to the Catholic faithful by providing avenues that, through prayer and with gentleness and respect, facilitate conversations and build relationships across racial boundaries, while keeping the Sacred Heart of Jesus as the focus of all we do so that ultimately God will be glorified.

"The end goal is to build a relationship across racial

boundaries so that we can learn to live together, that we can become allies of each other because ultimately it's all about staying focused on God"

- Joyce Jones
